A new gastrolation department was developed and implemented from scratch, including full process creation and staff training. This internal team became the foundation for more structured service, better coordination, and higher guest satisfaction. Simultaneously, all in-room and in-house marketing materials were redesigned to reflect both the new positioning and Accor’s corporate branding.
In the conference and event segment, a complete rethinking of the banquet and event sales strategy was carried out. Conference rooms were redesigned and new meeting packages were created in collaboration with the client. The result: a refreshed B2B sales approach, focused on both corporate clients and high-conversion packages for event planners.
A major expansion of the target audience came through the introduction of private events and weddings. Markus Mensch’s team created marketing campaigns, designed trade fair appearances, developed new sales strategies, and sourced strategic local partners to enhance the wedding offering.
The hotel’s recruiting efforts were also upgraded through a dedicated employer branding campaign targeting future trainees and apprentices. This campaign was supported by a well-known automobile brand — secured through Markus Mensch’s network — to increase appeal and credibility with young professionals.
On the restaurant side, the existing food concept was updated, and new marketing strategies were introduced to grow the off-site daytime business, attracting locals who had never interacted with the hotel before. A new brunch concept was launched, complemented by exclusive guest chef events, helping to elevate the brand’s culinary identity.
To ensure sustainable impact, the entire press strategy, partner network, staff workflows, and guest service processes were restructured and optimized. A new international business club was also brought on board as a key client, significantly expanding reach within high-value B2B networks.
